Last Home Game Traditions

What traditions have we lost from the final home game of the season that you miss or are glad to see the back of?
Off the top of my head, I am sure we used to showcase next seasons kit at the final home game?
Also, not necessarily the final game but the final few games I vaguely remember during the Redknapp days, if we were safe you would often see a few youngsters being given games. These days we just seem to play the strongest team. I would like to see these games used as an opportunity to give some up-and-coming players a bit of game time.

Getting relegated Hoping to see the back of that one Our captain refusing to play (Upson v Sunderland) because people might be rude to him. Hope that one has gone too
Would quite like to see Nathan Holland on the bench and given a few minutes.

Pitch invasions have been replaced with politely clapping an under-performing team whilst they carry their kids around

Used to love a pitch invasion.
This PC, health and safety world we live in is a right load of cunt.
Then again, imagine having to run that far to the pitch in that fucking stadium? I'd be too knackered to clap.

Duke was a fantastic pub for atmosphere after games, used to love it.
In fact so many boozers around the area where right up my street.
Always missed Charlie's (that right?) just round from the Boleyn when it closed, used to love a ska bounce around in there.

Wakefield was always good. Bar staff always used to have their tits hanging out.
Used to like green gate as well with that extremely fit and extremely moody bar staff bird.

I was probably more upset when that went than when the old ground did.

Simon s Agree mate, don’t think I’ve spent as much time and cash in a pub than the prince. Like losing a limb when that went...

Hammer of the Year used to be presented after the last home game.
Now they have some stupid 3 hour long awards ceremony during the week. Save of the season ffs.
